This is our blog. This is a way for the cast of Mandatory Friends to share their thoughts and insights into anything that strikes their fancy. Want to post a comment? Feel free. You can also visit our guestbook.
Mandatory fan, Rebel Yell writer, IFA 3/UNLV student, and graveyard shift employee NATALIE came to do an interview with us tonight after our show. She is going to include us in a piece she is writing for the Yell. Like she doesn't have enough other stuff to do. Thanks Nat!
Yes, life is pretty good for the Friends. Can't complain. Well, I could, but, seriously. Who would listen? You?? (Jen laughs to herself until her stomach really hurts)
I am on track break right now. This would explain why I am creating a blog entry at 12:38 am. Track break is a mini vacation that teachers at year-round schools get. It is a magical thing. You don't go to work, and the paychecks come anyway! It's zany! I'm quite the anal retentive workaholic, so track break isn't easy for me at first. I wake up at 6:00 am, think about the students, check my school email account...Then it all changes. I start to forget I ever had a job. I start to believe that this is how my life is; that I can go out for lunch in the middle of the day, stay up till the wee hours of the morning, do crossword puzzles in the LazyBoy all afternoon...and then. THEN. Well, let's just say that come March 28th I'll be doubling the ol' Prozac dose.
Here's hoping that you all can enjoy your precious down time. If it exists at all.
